Hi,
Do either of you have the premium version installed?
Best Wishes,
AshleyHi,
Are you able to send a screenshot or link to the site so I can see the issue?
Best Wishes,
AshleyHi,
Are you able to send the database errors please and anything from the PHP error logs so I can see whats going on?
If you want to downgrade you can download the previous version from the dropdown at the bottom of this page:

Sorry about the delay.
Are you able to send the PHP error logs so I can see whats actually going on?

AshleyHi,
Sorry about the delay.
When you turn that feature on in AIOS all it does is add the following to your wp-config.php
define(‘DISALLOW_FILE_EDIT’, true);
This constant is used and provided by WordPress to deny PHP file editing, all AIOS does is provide a UI element to turn it on and off (add and remove that line). So when you disable AIOS it doesn’t remove the line.
If you want to disable all the features before disabling the plugin there is an option for that under settings, but you may want to export your settings so that you don’t have to manually set it up again when you do enable the plugin again.

AshleyHi,
I’ve got no issue using the export settings feature and we have not had any other reports of such a problem.
Have you tried another browser? If that doesn’t resolve the issue, are you able to try again with the browsers developer console open to see if theres any errors in the javascript console and also what appears in the network tab (take a screenshot and share it here).
As for your RSS feeds failing could I get some more information on that?
Are you saying with the AIOS firewall active it doesn’t work and with it off it does work?
If so then we need to narrow down what firewall rule is causing the issue.
Would you be able to turn off all firewall rules, then enable them one by one until you find the rule that is causing the issue?Best Wishes,
AshleyHi Adam,
Thanks for the report.
Did you notice how many entires/rows you had in the audit log table before you cleared it?
I’ll try and reproduce the issue, but I have a feeling it’s going to be an issue WP migrate DB needs to resolve.
We could add something to prevent recording the serialized stacktraces when turned on.

No thats not how the captcha feature works, it does not disable the submit button.
You could try the rename login page feature to change where your login page is located.
Or turn on the failed login attempts feature to automatically block IPs who trigger multiple failed login attempts.

AshleyHi,
Thanks for the report.
It looks like WooCommerce automatically logs the user in.
If the user wan’t automatically logged in they wouldn’t be able to login until the account was approved.
I’ll add a task in our internal task tracker to investigate if theres a way we can prevent WooCommerce automatically logging new user accounts in.

AshleyHi,
Thanks for the report.
I’m not seeing the same issue with the account activity logs.
Are you able to check if theres any data in the account activity database table ({PREFIX}aiowps_login_activity)
And check if anything gets added if you login and out?
As for the “Logged in user” feature we are aware that this isn’t quite working right and a task has been added to our internal task tracker.Best Wishes,

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] currently unusableHi,
If your having an issue with the plugin then please open a support request, where one of our developers will be more than happy to help you.
The last update was over 3 weeks ago and we have had no other reports of any issues like you describe.
Since version 5.0 of the plugin most features no longer use the .htaccess file either.

AshleyHi,
What your asking is a feature that is part of the premium version.
Your able to force 2FA for all user roles, but each user will still have to manually setup 2FA by scanning a code via their app of choice.
So if a user logs in who has not got 2FA setup your able to redirect them to a page to set it up.

AshleyHi,
Thanks for the report.
A member of the team are reaching out to ManageWP to fix that, as it’s wrongly reporting that version 1.23.3 has the issue but thats the version that contains the fixes.

In reply to: [All-In-One Security (AIOS) – Security and Firewall] howto show CAPTCHA tabHi,
I think your saying that you are using a WordPress Multisite?
If so theres currently a bug that prevents the captcha menu from showing on subsites. This is fixed in our development version and will be in the next release.
If you want you can download this early development version:

AshleyHi,
Sorry about the delay.
We have not had any reports about any conflicts between these security plugins, but if you do choose to have multiple security plugins installed it’s best not to turn on similar security rules in both.
Cache plugins should be fine, so should LiteSpeed although we have a report of some of our .htaccess rules not being compatible with OpenLiteSpeed (we are in the process of moving away from .htaccess files completely in favour of our PHP based Firewall, so this won’t be an issue for long).
As for conflicts with other plugins these are fixed where possible when they are reported to us, currently we have no reports of any conflicts.
The best thing to do would be to install the plugin on a sandbox/development site and play around with it, if you have any issues let me know.Best Wishes,
Ashley
