That was a long thread!! But I did get out of it the div tag was probably the culprit. I used Worpress’s insert/edit image button to insert the image and used the aligment options to align the text of the post. But this is what apparently caused the problem! I just deleted the div code entirely and it solved the problem.
I don’t know if there was a bug in the formatting bar or it was me at midnight trying to get a new post up.

I am looking for /wp-content/uploads but I cannot find it. Where would it be and what is a permission (can I say pretty please?) and how would I change it?
If it is the wp-content folder the only things in it are and index.php, a plugins folder, and a themes folder.
I appreciate the help.
