This effect is possible, by using the plugin PHP ImageManager 2.37 with “Lightbox Support”.
Lightbox is a set of javascript files which generate this wonderful effect.
The Lightbox version with forward and backward links inside the pics does not work for me.
But this is more a problem of not enough knowledge about JS and PHP on my side.
