Thanks for your responses scribdu and WPOldSkool. Unfortunately the faq didn’t answer my question. And in the case of WPOldSkool’s response, I definitely have the wp_footer(); code as I am running the TwentyTen theme.
I think I’m going to have to deactivate and discontinue using Front-End Editor. It’s a good idea but it’s conflicting with other plugins, I believe.
