Meanwhile how much harder is it (if at all) than migrating from one active hosting platform to another, If at all?

OK, thanks guys. have gone with a host that is offering to do it automatically but if I have any issues I will report back.

Hmmm I see now if you click “Part 1…” in my menu, one of the gallery images has a caption with no shading and dark font, wheras the rest have shading and lght font…how do I lose the shading/light font and make all the images like the one in the top left, pleaser?

OK, so I am clicing the Image linlk above the image and pasting in the desired external URL. I then click “Update” in the top right of the screen.

However, nothhig has changed. What am I doing wrong?

OK, thanks. On my Appearance menu I see an “Additional CSS” item and a “Customise” item, but not a “Customise CSS” item…

I have indeed created a custom menu and I can see now that the issue was that I had failed to assign the menu to a page. I have now done so and the issue now appears to be fixed 🙂

btw yes I am running Expound theme. Thanks for pointing out that it is no longer updated – that is useful to know.Time a change, methinks.

I actually downgraded PHP from 7.4 to 7.3 and it now works…
