Same problem on a large site with more of 15M PV at month. The SQL server (8 cores) were about at 94% (all cores) for about 3 hours and the same advice shows on the admin “Elementor Data Updater – Database update process is running in the background”. We roll back to version 2.7.0 and still showing the: “Elementor Data Updater – Database update process is running in the background” (we don’t want to make clic on “Click here to run it now) because it can crash ower site. The consumtion dosen’t down.
Update: Well after an half hour the message dissapear. And the load came back to normaly with version 2.7.0.
PLEASE DO NOT UPDATE ELEMENTOR TO VERSION 2.7.1. It will crash your site and crash your server.
Come on Elementor!, how many days and websites down to fix the problem?
