I downloaded a plugin called StoreCustomizer and it lets you customize the woocommerce shop and settings for free. Using the plugin I was able to leave the actual woocommerce setting Shop page set to the Shop page. Homepage is the Front page. I skip the shop page all together and redirect the “shop page” button to my home page for when the cart is empty. So I should be able to hide the shop page from public view. I really like the custom features of the free plugin. I was able to get rid of some code I entered to make some changes. I used Blocksy theme with WP editor. Hope this helps.

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce store setup removed website home pageTemp fix. I don’t know the fix for this as I am having the same issue. But you can change the Shop page under woocommerce settings to something besides the Home page. When I change mine to About, then my real Home page shows up. I have been stuck for a while. Hope to find help here.

In reply to: Woocommerce store setup removed my sitetemp fix. change the Shop page to something other than HOME. I have used ABOUT and it puts my HOME page back. But I don’t know how to fix this issue, just yet.
