Thanks again — apparently I have no ftp info at the moment because of the way my blog was installed. The fix can be made, but I just want to make sure that this is what I need to do — or rather what my sister in law needs to do so I can get a blog subscription.
From what I have read, I think that this is the case — but does anyone know any other way around getting a blog subscription widget on a non-wordpress hosted blog?

My sister in law installed wordpress through her portals, or whatever terms apply. The site name is mine, hosted by her xxxxxx — I really am lost in the language here. I need to find another helper to guide me through code land.
In the meantime, is the Host Name the place where the ftp info would go, and then I’d need specific username and password for that ftp?
