We’ve fixed the issue of Search Button not working when the post-editor is initialized in text mode. Please upgrade to the latest v1.4.1.
However, visual mode is recommended for amazon text links. 🙂

We just rolled out v1.4.1 of the plugin which includes this fix. Please upgrade to the latest version and confirm that the amazon logo size issue is fixed for you now. Cheers!

The documentation has a typo error which we’ll fix pretty soon. The plugin doesn’t add an extra trailing space by default. Can you confirm that the text you selected has no trailing space?
If you are still facing the issue, can you write to us at link-builder@amazon.com with screenshots and the shortcode used to create text link and we’ll assist you in solving the issue?

Can you please write to us on link-builder@amazon.com with screenshots? It would be more helpful if you could attach screenshots of any error you see on your browser’s developer console or any failed network requests from your browser’s developer console’s network tab.

We have a plan of rolling out more templates in near future and will definitely consider your feedback on this. In the meantime, you’re are free to create a template of your own and design a “Purchase on Amazon” button. You can take help of template creation guidelines for this.

Can you confirm that you’re on “Visual” mode of the post-editor? There’s an issue with the “Text” mode with the current version of the plugin which will be fixed in the next plugin upgrade.

Search works properly in Visual Mode of the wordpress post editor. We will fix the issue with the text mode in next plugin update.
