As I told , I have always clicked on the menu item “Settings”. It was counted up. At some point came after the click on the menu item the white blank page.
I thought that it’s done then .
In this moment there are 1026 albums and 135961 photos in the system. Is less than 25%. The highest album ID is 1038.
I have called the index page (VIII- A9), after ca. 5 seconds the content appeared. The moving circle in FF stops, seems under heavy pressure. But I do not understand the content.

Later cames Picturename and at the end a few Foldername.

I will check the server error log, but i dont exactly remember the time as I start the index. Can i start the index again?

Yes the sites are still test environments. One goes online later, the other is a “playground” to test updates etc.

If it is possible, we would like to take a pre-release to test everything and to give feedback for you.

thanks for your really fast answer.
Tweak Options is installed, helped wonderful to access the settings page again.

Set the both enties as descriebed.
Start the process again as User1, page stands still like above described. Have wait for 5 minutes.

Log in as User2 with admin rights.
See Table VIII-8 “Currently running by the User1”.
Try to start VIII-A6 as User2, run in blank white page.

First tick box in table IX-E7 then create index the index by push the button “Do it!”.

Now, at 16:45 the screen has not changed, not refresh, does not look like as the import of images.
I made a look at the database at table wp_wppa_index look not altered.
Any Idea?

All pictures now stored in wp-content/uploads/wppa.

The file system limits the number of subdirectories in a given directory to 32,000. Furthermore, is warning if more than about 10,000 to 15,000 files located in a directory that file operations could take in such large directories long.(Wikipedia)

It does not matter if all of our pictures, about 300000-400000 images, are stored only in one directory?

By the way…
We know that there is the possibility to import individual folders.
But some our folders (years) contain up to 500 albums.
It takes too long by hand.
