Thanks mercime. That’s actually what I tried to do first, because it did seem easier 🙂 But the images are pictures of arrows and I want to be able to click on the arrow to take you back or forward. Can you make a background image a link?
Oh, I forgot to put the “.png” part at the end of the image, but adding that hasn’t effected anything. It’s still not working right.
OK, um, now I feel like an idiot.
First off, thank you for the link to themelab.com, I found it much more useful than the automattic site.
After lots of trial and error, trying to weed out what was going on, I finally found where I was making the mistake. Um…I had named my functions.php “fuctions.php” (missing a critical “n”), gosh that’s embarrassing. ::holds head down in shame::
