Hi Martin, I think I found why your plugin doesn’t show images anymore in tweets but I can’t make it work by myself, only you can modify your plugin, I’m afraid…
In fact, it happens when I share a picture published by someone else. For example, this tweet:
Health footprint of #coronavirus pandemic pic.twitter.com/MuDbUySFZT
— Ash Paul (@pash22) April 5, 2020
I want to share the image associated with this tweet, here’s the link to it:
pic.twitter.com/MuDbUySFZT
If I add this link to my tweet, then the ‘media’ in your shortcode will not show the image but the full text from the original tweet associated with the image…
Do you know why? Do you think you can fix it? Thank you very muche for your help Martin!
Thank you Jeff for the tip, I will do that! 🙂

In reply to: [WP-PostRatings] Manually Edit Ratings (like in WP-Polls)Hi Lester Chan! Sorry for the bother, I didn’t realized it was indeed possible to edit them via the custom fields… :\
But now I have another question: to make sure no one else but the admin can edit the votes, do you know how I could ‘hide’ only the ratings custom fields from anybody else but the admin?
Thank you for your help! 🙂

Hi Martin, I see you replied to other threads, just in case this might help you think about my suggestion to support Collections, here’s a link to a page that may be useful:

Thanks a lot! 🙂
Hi Martin! Apparently there has been no reply for 2 months now to the threads, I hope you will check the forum soon and provide some answers and some help, thank you! 🙂

In reply to: WP 5.1 doesn’t override older version filesAll right, I just checked the functions.php and I added add_action(‘admin_head’, ‘custom_colors’); to modify the Dashboard CSS… Sorry for the bother, and thank you for your help, without you I would have kept updating the files without thinking out of something else! 😉

In reply to: WP 5.1 doesn’t override older version filesHi Steven, thank you, I can do that indeed! But before, I just checked the files on the server, and all the files from the directories wp-admin and wp-includes are from the 5.1 version (2019). I just unzipped the 5.1 files and they show the same date as the ones on the server. So I could delete them and manually replace them with the ones I just unzipped but I’m afraid the old files I modified are not in the wp-admin or wp-includes directories :\
Any idea?

In reply to: [Newsletters] Create Subscribers listsOk, will do that, thanks!

In reply to: [Newsletters] Create Subscribers listsOk, so with the free version, I can only have one mailing list (let’s say, the main one to which all subscribers will subscribe by default) but I will be able to create lists of subscribers (family, friends, etc…) to whom I will decide to send the newsletter, right? I just want to be sure before installing your plugin, it looks great 🙂
Hi Marius, I just checked, the box is unchecked. The Yoast Box is also checked in the Screen Options.
Here are two screenshots that might help you figure it out:
– The Yoast box as seen as an Admin
– The Yoast box as seen as an EditorAgain, it worked fine until the last update, I didn’t change/modify/edit anything but the box appears differently: as you can see, the box I see as an Editor doesn’t show the title ‘Yoast SEO’ on top left of the box, this is weird…
Thank you for your help!
Hi Jose, I did deactivate all the plugins… So now unless something is still in cache somehow, I’m afraid I’m stuck without the help of the Plugin’s Autors :\
As for the deleted message Rik0399, I of course totally comply with the forum guidelines, but the fact that we have DIFFERENT version of WordPress on DIFFERENT physical server hosted by DIFFERENT hosts with DIFFERENT plugins, theme, and configurations and we still have the SAME problem is exactly the reason why the issue is not related to only my config but to at least different configs. Which make the issue even more important, IMHO.
But he/she could start a new thread on the same topic, if needed!
Hmmm… This is weird, I replied to someone having the same problem and now his reply disppeared… Anyway, I still have the same issue, only Admin can use the additional fields to add keywords :\
