Just to follow up…..

The permissions on the database were changed and wordpress installed OK now.

I am a bit concerned about the remaining installation files on the root of the domain name as it appears they may be run by someone else. What is best to do with these files ?

The logo is still appearing on the left on google chrome browsers. any idea how to fix this ?

Strangely that didn’t work when adding this code in either the Appearance, Custsomize, Additional CSS nor by adding it to the Style.css file and I’m using a child theme.

It did work however when adding it to Sportspress, Settings, General, Custom CSS.

This was answered by a friend – yes you can use the same google account for multiple websites

Its not been removed, its switched on but its not showing – this is the problem.

I just realised I had the all in one SEO set to static page which is why it wasn’t showing on the title. I’ve changed it now and its working fine.

Thanks Michael but they didn’t work with this particular theme.

I then trawled the support page for Hemingway theme and found a similar post from the author with a suggestion to add some code to a custom CSS which almost worked but left a small empty grey box in the header.

Any other suggestions ?
