I will check those out. Thank you.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Share BottonNo. Those were for adding my social media ‘connect’ links to the sidebar.
This is to add share buttons (share on FB, Google+, twitter, and email) at the bottom of each post. I know I would add it to the function.php, but I can’t find the code anywhere.
Like I was able to do here:
http://raising-a-warrior.blogspot.com/
I decide to do a self host blog on WP. I can’t seem to figure out how to do this though in wordpress.Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Social Icons link and imagesI fixed it!! 🙂
The ” mark was italic, maybe. I cut and pasted from a text document, but the first ” was different from the rest, so I deleted and typed it in and it worked. 🙂

In reply to: Social Icons link and imagesThat’s not the code I copied and pasted. It’s not saving what I actually past. It did the same thing to my first post. I’ll try again.
<a href=”http://www.facebook.com/raisingawarrior/"><img src="http://www.raisingawarrior.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/fb.png" alt="Facebook" height="38" width="38" />Forum: Fixing WordPress
In reply to: Social Icons link and imagesThank you very much. That worked to show my icons, but now I can’t get them to link to the social media correctly.
Here’s the code for the Facebook one:
<img src=”http://www.raisingawarrior.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/04/fb.png” alt=”Facebook” height=”38″ width=”38″ />But when I hover or click on the icon for FB, it has this address:
http://www.raisingawarrior.com/%E2%80%9Dhttp://www.facebook.com/raisingawarrior/%22I don’t understand why it’s adding my domain to the link. I don’t have the domain in the text code.

In reply to: Social Media IconsI already have my own social media icons for the social media sites I’m adding to my site. (FB, IG, Twitter, etc.) I’m trying to figure out how to add the url for the images I want to use with the social media link in style.css.

In reply to: Social Media IconsIs Github a plugin? I want to add my own icons that I have designed. Can I do this through Github, as well as get the same icon layout my blog current shows?

In reply to: Images not showing on postsI guess I’m just confused why it isn’t just showing my post as. It was and there and then after adding a couple other test posts, the images stopped showing. I’m not sure what you mean by _excerpt to the_content, is this in the css file?

In reply to: Images not showing on postsSo…if I set a featured image it shows the image. I don’t want to have to do this with every post. I may have to choose another theme. I’m trying to get my blog to look like this one (http://raising-a-warrior.blogspot.com/). I had to code a bit to get it this way on blogger. I decided to switch to a self hosting blog thinking it would be easier. lol 😉

In reply to: Images not showing on postsI’ll look around some more…
I just started trying to customize the blog a couple days ago and just uploaded WP to my server, so everything is up to date. I also double checked. And yesterday the images were showing. I refreshed sometime in the day and they were gone.If I set a feature image, will that only show one image? Right now I only have one image since I’m just posting some test posts. I will want all my images to show and I want the entire post on the main mage to show, not a summary.
