In reply to: [WooCommerce] csv import not workingHi Kyle,
Thanks for your reply.
My site already has nearly 1000 products on site. As for the setting, that is unticked, and so it shouldn’t be updating existing products. Furthermore, it says the upload was successful which is also odd.
How do I share the csv file?

In reply to: [WooCommerce] Woocommerce paypal orders accepted without paymentHi Kyle,
Yes, your assumption is exactly correct.
From adding the items to basket, the customer is then taken to the checkout. From the checkout, they can select PayPal or credit card to make payment. The issue arises when the customer selects PayPal and is then taken to the PayPal payment screen, where the order amount is displayed. If the customer stays on that page but does not click the ‘purchase’ button, nothing should happen. However, that is not what is happening. Instead, woocommerce thinks that the customer has clicked the purchase button when no payment has been made, and so a new order shows in our dashboard when the order was never actually placed.
Ok, no problem! I’ll come back to them on this. Thanks for your help, I know I’ve been difficult.
When I click this URL:
it says the below.
“This XML file does not appear to have any style information associated with it. The document tree is shown below.”
However, when I click ‘save as’ on the file and download it, it now has this:
“<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?>”.
Pinterest said the missing <?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?> was the reason for it not working.
When I download that file, the URL path now turns to the below:
C:\Users\ashley\Downloads\Product feed (1) (1).xml.This new URL path is now different.
Lol, nearly there I think…
I’ve managed to download it in the correct format, but the file URL location is my computers C Drive. How do I change the URL to open it? To clarify, the URL starts with the following:
C:\Users\******
Is the above the correct data source?
Actually, I’ve solved it… I think.
Okay, I see what you mean from your screenshot. When I download the feed it opens up in my browser. Would this be because my site is hosted on wordpress? Is there anyway I can download the feed without it opening in my browser?
Hi Eva,
The top line of my RSS feed is:
<rss xmlns:g=”http://base.google.com/ns/1.0″ version=”2.0″>
This is the same function as your code?:
<?xml version=”1.0″ encoding=”UTF-8″?><rss xmlns:g=”http://base.google.com/ns/1.0″></rss>
Hi Eva,
thanks for your reply.
This is the link I am using: https://www.pinterest.co.uk/product-catalogs/data-source
To get there I clicked on to Ads and then scrolled down to Catalogs. So this would make me assume I am trying to advertise?
