I have just replied a same type of issue a moment ago. So i am trying to explain here as well.
– Make sure – there are not any space at the end of “functions.php” after “?>” tag.
This should fix it
If not,continue:
– Make sure to de-activate your all plugins and trying to re-activate them.
– Also Make sure, you have not miss-configured wp-config.php
Worked for me 2, make sure you do not replace your wp-config.php file besides the wp-content folder.
Just like eileen pointed out open the “screen options” located o the very top right corner, next to help and log out button. make sure excerpt and whatever you want down there is checked.That’s it.
