In reply to: Dashboard – Incoming Links ProblemI think everyone in this thread has that exact problem. I seemed to have it licked for a while, but it came back with a vengance when I upgraded to 2.1. Despite what everyone seems to say, using relative links rather than absolute links does not make the problem go away. I’m out of ideas.

In reply to: Dashboard – Incoming Links ProblemBut did your “incoming links” panel on the dashboard clear up? Mine still shows that I’m linking to myself.

In reply to: Dashboard – Incoming Links ProblemI’m still not certain the relative links fix actually works in my case. I changed my links several days ago to relative links, and both my incoming links panel and technorati show that I’m still linking to myself, even after I’ve forced pings. How long does it generally take for the spidering to refresh itself?

In reply to: Dashboard – Incoming Links ProblemI have this same problem on my blog, and I am using Version 2.0.5. I am also very new to this, having just started a few weeks ago.
Most of my incoming links are coming from my own blog, and it shows the same within Technorati. It suddenly appeared just a few days ago. I suspect it may have something to do with one internal link that I have, where one post links to one other within my blog. I may try to remove that internal link to see if anything changes.
Is there anyway to prevent this from happening? I’d prefer to not remove the internal links.
