Good call on the header image. The look of the site is very templatized right now.
Curious why you went with the Google search rather than the search built into WP?
I like that you each have a unique icon at the top of the post to indicated who wrote it.

Try tweaking the margin-left on the sidebar. Both the width of the content area and left margin of the sidebar are 70%. Try decreasing the content width a bit and/or increasing the left-margin.
I’d try playing with the CSS myself, but unfortunately the IE web developer tool bites and you can’t modify CSS on the fly. Figures, the browser that you really need the edit CSS feature doesn’t supply it.
