In reply to: Use CSS to Hide Page Title from Specific PagesHi, sorry for the runaround, I think perhaps my browser was caching the CSS in some of my tests. At the urging of some web developer friends I tried this one again
.post-7972 .entry-header {display: none;}And it worked like a charm. Sorry for wasting your time, although it’s funny none of the other suggestions worked!

In reply to: Use CSS to Hide Page Title from Specific PagesDarn, still no luck with either of those…any other suggestions? Should I try the !important flag on any of the prior variations? like the .page-id-7972 one?

In reply to: Use CSS to Hide Page Title from Specific PagesYes @contentiskey, I have an embedded store currently, in the content of the page. And yes I’m applying the code to the style.css of a child theme.
thanks for your continued help, I really appreciate your insights!

.page-id-7972 h1.entry-title {
display: none;

In reply to: [Magic Action Box] Custom CSS to adjust specific input fieldsThanks! Here is a test page I have put up for you to see an example of the form I’d like to alter so the three date fields are a shorter width and on the same line.

In reply to: [Weblizar Pin It Button On Image Hover And Post] Settings Page emptyThanks, is there anyway for me to adjust the settings manually in a file somewhere? I just want to use the hover over image button, and disable everything else…
I also have the Pinit Button Pro plugin installed but it is deactivated, maybe that is causing a conflict?
For those interested, here is the correct line of code
RedirectRule ^/([0-9]{4})/([0-9]{2})/([0-9]{2})/(?!page/)(.+)$ http://yourdomain.com/$4 [I,R=301]Thanks I ended up removing the folder manually and then I reinstalled from within the wordpress interface and it seems to be fine. Luckily I didn’t have many customizations/settings so I only had to reconnect to my wordpress.com account to get things back up.
Not sure why that happened, perhaps a process was using that folder at the exact time the upgrade was attempted?
I wonder if the update process could be adjusted so the entire jetpack folder is copied to a backup location, and only deleted after the upgrade process on the plugin/jetpack live folder has succeeded? That way if something goes wrong for someone with many customizations, they simply have to move the backup folder back to the plugins directory and then try the upgrade process again?
Anyway, all is well now, thanks for responding!
