No, it did that in the parent theme as well. The child and parent themes appear correctly in other browsers. I’m just used to IE I guess.
It also displays properly in Firefox. I guess this is an IE11 problem. Can any other IE users running a different version test my website here? Thanks.
Ok, so I don’t think Question 2 is a z-index issue. The site displays properly in Safari for iPad in iOS 7, but not in IE11 on Windows 8.1.

Ok. Figured out Question 1. I didn’t reactivate slider in Theme Options -> Home Page. Hopefully I didn’t waste anyone’s time on that! Still stuck on Question 2!
