Well, blow me down… it worked! Why???? Why did the 2px difference cause it to work?
Code changed from #access ul ul {top: 29px;} to #access ul ul {top: 27px;}. No change in menu behaviour, though.
Not sure how that will stop the drop down menu from disappearing when you rollover it. Note: It will sometimes work!
