The problem with search form is coming from radius search, if you set a distance in radius search without specifying location name it will return 0 result. It will be fixed in next release.

If you have “Monetize by Featured Listing” option enabled (Directory Settings -> Monetization Settings -> MONETIZE BY FEATURED LISTING) then every submitted listing will be in pending status even new listing’s default status is set to published. It depends on the payment status.
