There should not be quotation marks within the plugin as default – can you confirm you are not using them in your post, page or theme files?

What happens when you click ‘clone’? Do you get an error? Does anything happen at all? Are you trying to clone a standard WordPress widget, or a widget that has come as part of a plugin?

Just to let you know the plugin has been updated so that you can keep cloning widgets multiple times. Previously you would have had to refresh the page before cloning a widget again, but it would have continued working.
With regard to deactivating the plugin – it would be good to hear more about exactly the issue you are experiencing. The plugin scans the existing widgets for the highest widget ID number and then adds 1 to this number when cloning, so it should never be the case that widget IDs are duplicated.
Would much appreciate if you could let me know more details about this issue.

For future reference, simply leaving 1 star feedback doesn’t achieve much – for you, or for the rest of the WordPress community. You could easily have dropped us a message and we could have solved these issues – that way you benefit and so does every other WordPress user looking for a plugin like this.
