We have upgrade a few sites to WP 5 – but still using the Classic Editor. What I see from the test sites, we will not switch the next 12 months. The product is just too new.

No, problem still exists. It’s wired, because the same setup works with other sites. Once we have lots of rain on a weekend and I have nothing to do … then might set it up completly new..Greetings,

In reply to: WP 4.5.2 – after update: backend OK, front end no showHi,
No, not this one, here worked the update just fine.
With the other one I had to back back (via TimeMachine) to get it up and running again.Greetings,

Hi there,
Yep, had the same problem. Turned WordPress upside down, didn’t find anything. My solution was to check the firewall. I’m running with 2 internet lines (different providers) behind a Kerio Control (hardware firewall).
NAT is turned on, translates public IP addresses to internal IP addresses. Because JetPack is phoning home, I needed to turn on enable “source NAT”, too, to make sure an outgoing connection (from this server) is using the same public IP address as the incoming traffic (for this server).
Greetings,
Peter
