Yoast Redirects for permalink change

Does anyone know how to use yoast to redirect your links after changing the permalink structure from /%postname%/ to /%year%//%postname%/? I am currently getting a weird redirect that just bounces them to some post page with a list of posts but never allows you to get to the actual post itself. So I am guessing its a redirect issue.
