Yoast analysis not working

    Hi, I posted this same issue about a month ago and did not have the chance to reply so the thread was shutdown a week later as solved, but the problem persists so I’m making
    a thread again. For the past few weeks, SEO analysis does not work. Whenever I modify my pages in Elementor, the changes are not recorded in the SEO analysis. For example, one issue on a page was that I had no outbound links, so I added them. But when I check the SEO analysis tool, it still says I have none, among other things. This can be very confusing because I do not know whether my SEO is optimised or not. The only page that is green for Yoast SEO (other than Privacy Policy) has my highest ranking focus keyphrase, so I think this issue truly might be hindering my rankings.

    As per request from @devnihil in the last thread, I have:
    -Checked for conflicts
    -Checked for Javascript errors with console
    -Used the Health Check and Troubleshooting plugin to troubleshoot

    I am on WordPress 5.4.1 and Yoast 14.2
    Please help me solve this issue quickly,

    Hi,

    Depending on how the page is built and what Elementor modules are used, Yoast may be expected to work on it.

    Can you please provide the URL that has the issue? Can you also describe what warnings Yoast is tossing out? Finally a screenshot of what the modules are used on the page in the backend would be helpful. You can use a tool like: https://pasteboard.co/ to share the image.

    We say this there are some issues with Elementor’s modules. For example, Yoast does not pick up links if you added them via a button.

    Yoast is not issuing any warnings

    I don’t fully understand what you mean by modules, do you mean the drag and drop options that Elementor provides? The text on the pages has been added through the WordPress text editor module in Elementor.

    The Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin analyzes the default WordPress content areas like the title, URL, the main content box (WordPress editor). If you are adding your content through the Elementor, Yoast SEO for WordPress plugin might not be able to detect it by default.

    In the past, we have tried to parse shortcodes and other content boxes with inferior results. Therefore, we opted to provide plugin and theme developers with an API that they can use to pass their content to our page analysis.

    If you are using a plugin or theme that doesn’t send their content to our page analysis, please reach out to the developer and ask them about adding the functionality to their code. This KB article will help them with the implementation — Can I add data to the page analysis?

    With that being said, while our plugin isn’t able to detect all your text blocks and shows an incorrect analysis report, this doesn’t mean that search engines won’t be able to parse them. Our content analysis is to validate the content of your website and doesn’t really affect how search engines crawl and index your site.
