Yet Another Permalink Problem

I’m another person with a problem with permalinks… I am using Apache2, mod_rewrite is completely enabled, allowOverride is set to ALL, my .htaccess file looks fine (generated by WP) and i’ve followed pretty much all the other posts in trying to get it working, but still no joy.

I’ve set permalinks up with the standard /%year%/%monthnum%/%day%/%postname%/ structure but whenever I refresh and try to read a post, read an archive, anything I get the same old 404 error or ‘redirect limit exceeded’ blah blah blah. Can anyone help please? I’m pretty much at boiling point with this…
