Yet another installation error

    My site is hosted with Lunarpages – I used ‘Softaculous’ in my cPanel to install WordPress. It said it installed fine. However, when attempting to reach the admin page for the first time, I get the following error:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_OBJECT_OPERATOR in /home/comun6/public_html/wordsofhope/blog/wp-admin/index.php on line 35

    Also, when trying to access http://www.wordsofhope.us/blog I get the following error message:

    Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_VARIABLE in /home/comun6/public_html/wordsofhope/blog/wp-includes/option.php on line 225

    I thought using this auto installer would work best, but apparently not…

    Any ideas? Anyone? Bueller?
