xmlrpc.php with Staticize Reloaded

I’ve successfully loaded Matt’s Staticize Reloaded 2.5 plugin into my WP 1.2 install. I love it, it makes my slow server usable. Except for the fact that it will not work with the XMLRPC interface. I use a couple of different clients for publishing (w.blogger and Zempt mostly). With the Staticize activated, I get errors from both clients and can not publish (I get a type mismatch error in w.blogger) and Zempt just crashes and dies.
Anybody have any suggestions for getting getting the XMLRPC interface to work with Staticize, cause my poor little server would really love.
