Could you turn all other plugins, switch theme to default and try to import this file? It works?

I am using WordPress version – 4.2.1, using Maskitto Light theme. As part of their setup it says to install your plugin and then using the import/export feature import all the types from a types.xml file.
Thank you for your quick response, I have today stripped the theme from the website however the import/export option is still blanked out. It doesn’t seem to be controlled by the theme. I’m really stumped as everything else works really well.
I have downloaded, activated and tried. Deactivated, deleted, deleted setup files from server, restarted and then re-added etc, but this still does not work.

Hi. i’m have the same problem, what i need to install on my iis7 web server for properly work of the plugin?
I note the update, however the option is still greyed out?
When i tried on another site, running an older version of wordpress the option was fine and seemed to work. So it appears something between the older version and the new version of wordpress?

i solved problem using google chrome. i’m delete disable option in code view, and upload the xml file.
