Hi @americobarreira
Could you please post your website’s URL and a few steps to reproduce? Is it only happening on some specific pages, or can I take any path in reproducing this?
Thanks.
Start here: https://lisboa2023cnc.org/en/practical-information/
Click ok “Vocational Meeting registration” link
You get to this page: https://lisboa2023cnc.org/en/vocational-meeting-registration/ but the title will be wrong. It will display the previous page title (Practical Information) instead of the correct title (Vocational Meeting registration)
If you close the browser tab, open a new one and go directly to: https://lisboa2023cnc.org/en/vocational-meeting-registration/, you’ll get the right page title.
This only happens with this page. Coming from the homepage, or coming from any other page linking to this one.
I tested with twenty three theme, and the issue doesn’t occur.
Hi @americobarreira
Alrighty, saw the issue. Are these pages anything special, or have they been built by hand and inserted blocks into them?
I’m going to try to replicate the issue, but I need more information to be able to do so. 🙁
Thanks.
They only have a title and a forminator form (block).
Guttenber, insert block, etc… Nothing else.
There is a similar page: https://lisboa2023cnc.org/pedidos-de-apoio/ that also has some text, but in this one no issue happens…
Hi @americobarreira
So I’ve tried reproducing this but no dice. Is there any way you could take a backup of the site using this plugin – https://wordpress.org/plugins/all-in-one-wp-migration/ and send it our way?
In this way we’ll be able to see exactly what’s happening. Perhaps there’s something that we’re both missing.
Thanks!
Can we do it some other way? The backup would have personal information in the DB that I cannot share…
I’m really sorry, but there’s no other way. We have to see what’s happening, as there might be an issue with a third party plugin, or with our theme.
I don’t even know what I should suggest. Perhaps try disabling all of your plugins and see if anything affects that? Are you sure that there is no caching on the server side of things?
Thanks.
One little thing that one of my colleagues has noticed. The post ID does not change if you follow the first flow that you posted.
I’m thinking this could be an error from the multilingual plugin that you use? These tend sometimes to mangle things up.
Could you attempt with the multi language plugin deactivated?
Found the issue. When I deactivate forminator the issue stops.
Will investigate more…
Hi @americobarreira,
Glad you found the problem.
Let us know in case you will have any other questions.
Have a nice weekend 🙂
