Wrong currency at Paypal

I want to charge US-based customers US$, everyone else CAD$. But I want the cost of the product to be the same dollar amount. US-visitors pay US$20, everyone else pays CAD$20.

Currency rate for both US$ and CAD$ is fixed at 1. Geolocation on for Canada and US. Base currency is CAD. Welcome currency is CAD.

US visitors see US$ in store, cart and checkout, but when it comes time to pay, they get charged by paypal in CAD. How do I get paypal to charge US customers in US$?

Allow Multiple is set to yes.

Client is able to accept paypal payment in US$.

Not sure which FAQ I should be looking at.

I should also mention that the transaction in question was made through Paypal with a credit card, not a transfer from one paypal account to another. Does this make a difference?

How do I get paypal to charge US customers in US$? – I can suggest you little custom code when users from usa bot able change currency to any another

* open your current theme header.php
* write there next code:
```
$pd = WC_Geolocation::geolocate_ip();

Just so I understand properly:

This code would remove the ability of the user to change to another currency, if the site detects they are coming from the US?

Thanks. This is not really my issue. I don’t actually have a switcher displayed on the website anywhere. US users see price in US$, everyone else will see price in CAN$. The problem is, checkout is sending all pricing information to Paypal in Can$, even for US visitors.

Disable all plugins except woo+woocs and try it, even try theme changing for testing …
