• I have a search problem with the wpDataTables plugin.
In a similar topic it was said that Relevanssi is able to perform searches even inside wpDataTables tables.
I noticed that if the table is “linked to an existing data source” (not editable), the search works, vice versa if the table has “imported data from a data soruce [Excel]” (editable) the search doesn’t work. Obviously the second type of table is much more functional and faster for me. Is it possible to make Relevanssi search work for these tables as well?
    Thanks so much

I tried creating such a table on my test site, and Relevanssi indexed the contents of the table without problems.

What kind of content you have in the table?

I have a table (imported from a file Excel) inside which there are columns of letters and numbers and one of links.
If the same table is created in WpDataTables as a non-editable table, the search works, if instead the data is always taken from an Excel file, but with the possibility to modify the cells directly from the plugin, the search doesn’t work.

Looks like that’s a Premium feature in wpDataTables, so I can’t help you with that. I have no idea how that kind of table works in WordPress, and since I don’t have access to wpDataTables Premium, I don’t really have a way to find out.

Can you tell me how wpDataTables stores the table data? If you can help me figure out how the data is stored in WordPress, I may be able to help you with this.
