wp profile fields to xprofile sync

    Hi All,
    I’m setting up an intranet, we’re using buddypress and also syncing wp users with AD. This is all working very well, I can see various synced profile fields from AD in my wp profile. I have found that you can’t natively sync wp profile data to xprofiles.

    I have read that people have modified this user sync plugin to sync additional profile fields.

    I have never done any PHP before but I am wondering if I can manage to reassemble bp-xprofile-wp-user-sync.php to synchronise things like department, phone ext, mobile no etc.
    Any hints or tips gratefully received…
