wp-mail-smtp plugin: Fatal Error

    I have installed WP-Mail-SMTP plugin to send email using SMTP instead of phpmailer.

    I am receiving this error when I try to configure the plugin:

    Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class smtp in /home/myuser/public_html/wp-includes/class-smtp.php on line 25
