Hit ‘update’ on the WP Job Manager plug-in and the update failed followed by WP telling me it had de-activated it. Now the plug-in is no longer listed in my plug-in list and WP won’t let me re-install it as it says folder already exists?

Have you had this problem with updates before? Could be folder permission related.

If you download the plugin from WordPress.org, you can install it manually.

First time it’s happened. I deleted the empty folder left behind and re-installed. Seems to have worked.
