WP Encryption… Domains Covered??
-
During the Registration section, it indicates Domains Covered. xyz.com.
Under Primary Domain, it list http://WWW.XYZ.COM in the grey box.
After I’ve installed the certs, it only works if I type in the following.
https://www.xyz.com = Certs working
http://www.xyz.com = Certs NOT Working
xyz.com = Certs NOT WorkingHow can I get the certs working for www and non xyx.com?
Thanks in advance!

Please check FAQ within plugin interface to know how to generate SSL certificate for both www & non-www domain.Follow the instructions and re-generate SSL. Once after you successfully install the generated SSL on your cPanel / hosting platform, please enable “Force HTTPS” feature of WP Encryption.
This will solve all your said issues 🙂
Hello Support,
Yes, I can access my web site by typing in the WWW and NON-WWW domain.
As per the FAQ, If both are accessible, You will see “Generate SSL for both www & non-www” option on SSL install form. Otherwise, this option will be hidden.
When I go back to Generate a new SSL, it still says, Domains Covered (pre populated NON-www) xyx.com and the below is the Primary domain (pre Populate with WWW) http://www.xyx.com
That’s all I see on screen, no other option. Is there a check mark to select for NON-WWW?
I will generate another SSL Cert.
Bob
So the messages says…
SSL host Successfully Installed.
This SSL certificate was already installed. The SSL website is now active and accessible via HTTPS on these domains: The SSL website is also accessible via these domains, but the certificate does not support them. Web browsers will show a warning when accessing these domains via HTTPS: xyz.com mail.xyz.com The SSL certificate also supports this domain, but this domain does not refer to the SSL website mentioned above: www.xyz.comSo what does that mean? Please advise.
Thanks
Bob
Hello,
If you open /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp_encryption&includewww=1 url in your wp-admin i.e., append includewww=1 to url then you can see an checkbox option in SSL install form to generate SSL for both www & non-www
Hello, I’m using WP Encryption v5.6.0
From the WP Encryption tab, I do not see any check box option in SSL Install form to generate SSL for both www & non-www
What I do see are…
SSL Health
Download SSL Cert
Force Https
Reset
Affiliation
Support Forum
UpgradeI don’t see the option anywhere.
This issue is still ongoing.
it’s only working when I type in… https://www.xyz.com
It will NOT work if I type in http://www.xyz.com or xyz.com
Anyone??
@byuenwp Sorry but we offer limited support for Free version. Please opt for Pro version if you need more customized help.
While I appreciate the support I’ve been given thus far, not sure how paying for the Pro Version will help my issue.
It’s a simple support question at this point. Does Free WP Encryption support creating of www and NON-www domain?
http://www.mydomoain.com
mydomain.comAs said before, Yes it does support generating SSL for both www & non-www domain together. If you open /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wp_encryption&includewww=1 url in your wp-admin i.e., append includewww=1 to url then you can see an checkbox option in SSL install form to generate SSL for both www & non-www
Hi there as I mentioned earlier, I don’t see that check box option.
If you can send me a photo/link/article that shows where to find that option, I’d appreciate it.
I looked through all the WP Encryption options.
Thanks
Bob
This screenshot might help you – https://prnt.sc/1edex72
Please use RESET option of WP Encryption once, make sure you are updated to latest version of plugin and then try the above.
Hello support, Thank you for clarifying the steps needed for me to have www and Non-www domain registered with SSL.
Why isn’t this a default?
Why would I have to go through the hoops just to get non-www domain added?
It would make things easier. Please update your FAQ ” How to install SSL for both www & non-www version of my domain?”
For anyone reading this, here is the solution
1) From the left panel menu, WP Encryption, hit RESET to RESET KEYS AND CERTIFICATE.
2) You may need to refresh your screen or click on another menu and then go back to WP Encryption.
a) For Step 1 of Registration, there is NO option visible to include non-www
b) In the URL window, you will see page=wp_encryption
type in &includewww=1 at the end.
c) It will look like this. page=wp_encryption&includewww=1
d) Hit enter and just above where it says “Anonymously send…” you will now see the option to Generate SSL for both www & non www.
e) Check Mark and agree to the terms and click Generate SSL Certificate.Thank you Support!

Hi support, its time to renew and I’m having an issue.
When I click the option to Generate SSL Certificate for both www & non-www version of domain, I get an error.
Your www domain is not reachable, so this option cannot be enabled.
I can access my website via byuen.com and http://www.byuen.com. Not sure why it saying it’s not reachable.
How do I fixe the issue?
Thanks
Is this correct?
I edited DNS record by adding
CNAME
Name: byuen
Value: byuen.comName of your CNAME record should say www
