WP Editor white space

Ok I have to ask this here and show my problem with a screen-shot, because any search I do with “editor white space” comes up with a million different things.

In the word-press editor my text and images a crunched all the way over to the left while there is plenty of empty space on the right. It look as though it does some kind of word-wrap. It displays fine on the actual site, but its very annoying in the WYSIWYG view:
