ouf i did an update on servers MAMP and PHP and now Safari cannot connect to the server….its getting even worst
Ok go to phpmyadmin and thereafter go to the database you are using. There you will find a table named ‘wp_options’ click on that. You will see first two rows with the ‘option_name’ as siteurl & home. Check those values. And try adding http:// there if you haven’t added it earlier to your url. And before doing anything please do keep backup.
What error are you getting after updating MAMP and PHP?

Failed to open page : Safari can’t connect to the server “localhost”…i think has to do with the port number….how can you change it on the Data Base is 8888 but on the url 8889 : i found this is on MAMP preferences and ok the site is working now..i am still working out on dashboard
Your WordPress database has been successfully updated! but my password and username don’t match…
i ve already done the instructions that you are telling me…wp-options etc
