WP Cache Parse Error…..Blog No Longer Working

    I just installed wp-cache to me 2.0 wordpress and no the entire blog doesn’t work. here is the erro and line of code it is referring to:

    Parse error: parse error, unexpected ‘/’ in /usr/home2/ddkar645/public_html/blog/wp-content/plugins/wp-cache/wp-cache.php on line 543

    echo ‘<input type=”hidden” name=”wp_delete_cache_file” value=”‘.preg_replace(“/^(.*)\.meta$/”,”$1″, $file).'” />’;

    If you deactivate the plugin does the blog work?
    (Why do you need the plugin? Do you have such a heavy traffic?)

    I would deactivate it but I can even log into my admin panel 🙁 Will try and delete the files and see if that helps.

    I did tests of WP-Cache 2 on WP 2.0.1, no immediate problems. This is under PHP 5.0.2, apache 1.3.x, mysql 4.x. WP-Cache version reads: 2.0.17

    That code looks the same in my version (though different line, likely due to my own local mods…).

    When I’ve had problems with stuff like this, ftp’ing in and renaming a file is the fastest solution to get it back.
