wp-admin

I have just transferred wordpress multisite to a different domain and hosting. Everything is working fine except the wp-admin

Usually I can just type http://www.example.com/wp-admin and it will add the trailing / automatically. But now it is going to http://www.example.com/wp-admin.php instead.

If I go to http://www.example.com/wp-admin/, everything works fine. My concern is that previously I don’t have to consistently add that trailing slash.

I have copy and pasted the .htaccess from http://codex.wordpress.org/htaccess and it still doesn’t work.

Any help would be appreciated
