Have you tried:
– deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).
– switching to the default theme to rule out any theme-specific problems.
– resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.
– re-uploading all files & folders – except the wp-content folder and wp-config.php & root .htaccess files – from a fresh download of WordPress. Make sure that you delete the old copies of files & folder before uploading the new ones.

Sorry, I had to do a couple of other things before I could have a look at my worpress installations again.
I have deactivated all plugins but that did not help
I have reinstalled the twenty twelve theme (and tried others) but no succes
I have uploaded a fress wp folder, renamed my old webfolder to something else, placed the wp-config, root .htacces file and wp-content folder in the new downloaded folder. But then I got a blank page when I wanted to have a look at my website.
So, did I do something wrong when i tried step 3? and/or is there anything else that I can try?
Many thanks!
Wouter

fixed it by doing all above (for some reason I had to redo it 3 times, but then it worked)
