It is not the plugin to blaim but your hosting plan.
Hi @katherine Lambert, this plugin works well with most hosting providers out there. However one must first test to make sure that it works with their own settings.
I have installed this plugin on three different servers from three different host. All worked well for me.
The developers do a super great job in providing a free plugin for all to use.
Please check with your host and also make sure that you report any issues by creating a support ticket here.
