WordPress.org plugins stats timezone

Hi guys,

Could you please tell us which timezone is used on WordPress.org to calculate the plugins stats.

For example, this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/gallery-plugin/stats/ has a stats from “yesterday” and for “today”. We would like to know when the “today” is started.
