wordpress.com to wordpress.org help (domain mapping ?)

    Hola,

    Sorry if this has been asked but I did not find this topic anywhere other than a few places where it was never answered and/resolved. I have had a site setup since may on wordpress.com . To have a more legit look in June I purchased a domain and used the wordpress.com feature that lets my domain (intoxicology101.net) redirect to the wordpress.com blog I have. I now want to get self hosting and get a wordpress.org blog using the url I purchased (intoxicology101.net) but will the fact that the url is mapping back to intoxicology.wordpress.com make this transition difficult?

    I don’t know alot about websites but I am great at following directions.

    P.S. i haven’t purchased the self hosting yet, any suggestions on a good host? I get about 3,000 visitors a month currently if that matters

    hi, i also have the same problem, the problem comes and go, it is so fustrating and i already email the support a day ago but still no reply. Please kindly inform me if u have manage to solve this problem. thanks

    Give them another day. They just got back yesterday from a massive company meeting in Florida. They’re probably just playing catchup.
