    I am considering starting my blog with wordpress.com in order to see if it works for me. I have a couple questions if anyone can help or point me in the right direction.

    Can I monetize a blog with adsense or affiliate programs?

    Can I later export my content to worpress.org?

    Where can I find templates?

    Is there a forum for wp.com?

    Presently templates cannot be edited on wp.com, so adding these would be difficult.

    There’s only an import for your blog there, although using the rss feed to export and import elsewhere is a potential workaround. Word is they are working on a solution, but…

    However, as in the case of editing templates you cannot add themes, as well.

    Granted, you can’t use any of those themes at wordpress.COM. You choose from what they offer you there. It’s a pretty decent selection though and is growing over time.
