Another option is to look at the showcase section on the numerous commercial theme developer sites. Gives you an idea of what people have done with commercial themes http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/commercial/

Is their a list of wordpress websites that I may look at. I would like to see what other people have done.
Also are there different templates for comments?
