I visited your site and waited about 40 seconds for your site to load, which as you know… is WAY too long 🙂 Have you tried temporarily activating one of the default WordPress themes to see if your theme is the offender? If it’s not your theme, it might be a plugin. Have you tried disabling all of your plugins and reactivating them one a time to find the offending plugin? Often SEO plugins can bloat your website. So if I were you I’d start my search there. You could also use another plugin called “P3 Plugin performance Profiler” which shows you which plugins might be slowing down your site.
However, if that still doesn’t solve your problem you’ll need to dig deeper and use tools to help you figure out the source of the problem. Using our “page speed” tool you can figure out exactly what’s causing the slow load time and we provide easy to follow actionable steps to help you fix it. Once you’re logged in go to “seo analysis” and then “page speed”. You will be told which items are “critical” and which ones are recommended fixes. For example, our system could recommend minifying CSS, HTML, compressing your website or looking for ways to fix server response times. Just go through each step until your problem is solved 🙂
