WordPress version number

    I am aware that this is a stupid question, but how does one know which version of WordPress is installed on one’s server? (I feel totally silly asking this…)

    Either:
    View Source
    or
    look inside wp-includes/version.php
    or
    <?php bloginfo('version'); ?> in your footer (1.5)
    <?php echo $wp_version; ?> in your footer (1.2.x)

    I think that last one is correct, been a while since I used it.
