lists a variety of ways to change url. If you can access the mysql, it can be changed. It can also be changed in wp-config using ftp

I elected to change the wp-config.php which now lets me access the wp-admin login page but no longer accepts my credentials – very weird as this has not changed.

May need to reset your password…although I find that a bit strange…..
Tried the automatic emailer but new password did not help.
Tried the emergency.php script also and still no joy. I fear my site is now shot to pieces if I cannot administer it.
Any advice?
If I use an incorrect password it knows I have used an incorrect password so why the hell does it not let me in when using the correct password?
